Why did the featherless peacock cross the road?

This obsession with wanting to know the reason “why” for every event is unhealthy, pathetic, and frankly fucking annoying. Who gives a shit why so & so did this heinous act, or that person said stupid shit, or why the results didn't land in your favor? And the pretentious, self-righteous attitude that accompanies these “truth seekers” dissecting and analyzing every word and post and article pumped out by the system to entrap and entice and titillate big egos and small minds is nauseating.

Tell me that the idea of adopting the red pilled moniker from a Movie about the System that created the System is more than a little ironic. But that's the level of absurdity we're dealing with these days.

Here is a definition I found - "Redpilled: Refers to adopting a worldview that challenges mainstream narratives, often with a contrarian, libertarian, or sometimes conspiratorial tone, or waking up to the hidden truth."

Is it possible to be born Redpilled?

I was taught as a boy not to trust the government. It took only ONE interaction with g-men to cement this lesson in my noggin permanently. I didn't need to know WHY the government acts like the fucking gestapo, only that they do, and to avoid dealing with them as much as possible.

The Matrix is a decades old movie, so I suppose these truthtards have labeled themselves Redpilled for a while - I only heard the term in 2020 when they came out of the woodwork like wood boring beetles to "oppose" the death jab. Can I tell you I thought it more than a little pathetically ironic that a large percentage of these movie-goers not only voted for grandpa death-jab, they vigorously defended the warp-speed-weenie against legitimate criticism. Nothing screams cognitive dissonance like screaming “plandemic!” one minute and waving pom-poms for the guy who claimed genocidal victory the next.

I never understood how someone can be "awake to the truth" that covid vaccines kill and maim, that they were a military bio-weapon, and that Trump is proud of his role in launching and funding the genocide - and then vote for captain chaos while mocking everyone that raises this inconsistency with them. But I don't need to know the WHY - facts are facts, I am awake to the truth and I distance myself from them as much as possible, and mock them when the opportunity or inspiration arises.

Today is such a day.

This played out again after Trump was elected. The magatards Great Awakening morphed into The New American Century and every redpiller & truther & christian & dissident voice proclaimed a Golden Age of American Values. Why? Because they were told to! Apparently they only challenge mainstream narratives when it’s convenient, their skepticism has a switch and their critical thinking wears a team jersey, and readily adopt the slogans of "their guy".

Make America Great Again. America First.

Biden bad, Bibi great hero, Iran shot me, Israel is greatest ally, most transparent administration ever, the files don't exist, I will stop war, I will fund IDF & weapons to Ukraine for peace, I will bomb Tehran & Beijing & Moscow for peace, I will balance the budget and reduce the deficit, after we pass the big beautiful bill and I'm out of office, we'll deport more illegals & criminal gang members than any other president that we think are hiding in home depot and in the fields picking lettuce just as soon as their new work visas expire, and p.s. - look out for those radical muslim sleeper cells

And most ironic - they don't seem to want to know the WHY of all this bullshit, they seem to prefer to wallow in the muck.

I'm a simple man. I would think that saying a few thousand mea culpas - with a few hail Mary's thrown in for good measure - you never know, is more in line with American values than time wasted seeking the WHY. I would also think that separating yourself from "dissident voices" that voted for Trump and have to one extent or another acted as apologist for the featherless peacock is prudent. And focusing your time and attention on creating a bit of independence from the system you pluck your monikers and slogans from is sage advice if you want to retain - or regain, a piece of your soul that teeters on the edge of the abyss.

The WHY doesn't fucking matter. It's a waste of time, a distraction, short-sighted and think about the ridiculousness of this exercise in this age of fake & gay.

I've been married for 37 years, known her going on 45, if you asked me the "why" she did something I would have at best a coin flip odds of answering correctly, and the chance of increasing the odds of knowing the truth wouldn't increase much if I asked her directly, and in many cases her answer would get me further from the underlying reason her actions.

Saying "I told you so" is not in my nature. But calling someone stupid that acts like a fucking moron, is.

The world is being run by criminals, perverts, and soulless creatures. Your participation in their rituals makes you more of a Satan's Pimp than some based defender of truth. Call it awakening. Call it resistance. I’ll call it what it is, a performance.

Chasing your WHY's and ignoring the truth all around you. Borrowing slogans that act as tools of acceptance and showing your obedience to the masters of the narrative - one if by land and two if by sea, the algorithm has no effect on me. Tweeting give me liberty or give me death while sipping on your venti mocha latte in rush hour traffic. Draped in the colors of red, white and bullshit screaming for answers that do not exist.
